Bring JA to your classroom

Junior Achievement's mission is to inspire and prepare young people to succeed in a global economy.

Junior Achievement of Kentuckiana is the region's leading provider of life-changing economics programs for students.  JA has made the commitment to serve every student in the region four times in his or her school career to prepare them to succeed in a global economy.

JA uses classroom and after-school lessons taught by volunteers and teachers, as well as hands-on experiences in Sam Swope JA BizTown® and Chase Finance Park™ to help young people understand the economics of life.  Locally, JA serves 48,000 students with programs in 26 counties in Kentucky and Southern Indiana.

"Economics is simply the interaction between human beings. We handle it primarily with money.  So, if you don't understand the basics of how to deal with finances, you're in a world of hurt as far as approaching a successful life."

                                                        -- James W. Robinson
